Danijel Stevanović - HypoVereinsbank

My name is Danijel Stevanovic and I am a former student of the Faculty of Business in Belgrade, Singidunum University. I am currently working at HypoVereinsbank (UniCredit Bank AG) in Munich as a product manager for payment innovations. My job is to develop and manage cash management products for corporate and multinational clients, such as virtual accounts.

HypoVereinsbank is part of UniCredit Group, one of the largest banking groups in Europe. It is among the biggest financial institutions in Germany and it carries out banking transactions of all kind. HypoVereinsbank is responsible for all of UniCredit operations in Germany and is the competence center for international investment banking.

UniCredit is a leading European commercial bank, with leadership positions in Italy, Germany and Austria and a strong presence in other high-growth CEE countries. With ca. 3,500 professionals in 50 countries, Corporate & Investment Banking serves corporate and institutional clients out of the largest group of network banks in Western, Central and Eastern Europe.

As a student of auditing and accounting at Singidunum University, I had the opportunity to enter financial business world during my studies. Knowledge and skills acquired at the University have enabled me to find a good internship and to continue working for 5 years in the Serbian market as a finance manager. Moreover, it has brightened my scope for further education. I enrolled postgraduate studies at IUBH University in Germany where I obtained my master’s degree in working capital management, and which enabled me to hold my current position. I still recall my bachelor days at Singidunum University with joy and I consider it an important period of my life and a place where I started shaping my future.
